Mișcare Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Mișcare Android app (package name com.zandaulion.miscare) handles information. It applies to the Android app, rather than any separately hosted web version. For privacy questions, contact the Mișcare developer at zandaulion@gmail.com.

Free to use

Mișcare is free to download and use. It has no advertising, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. You do not need an account, and the app does not request payment information.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the information needed to provide its exercise routines and journal locally on your device:

Your exercise level, preferred session length and days, available equipment, and any exercise limitations or sensitive body areas you select. These choices may reveal health-related information.
Your workout history, including exercises, repetitions, sets, session dates and times, device time zone, duration, completion status, effort feedback, and progress totals.
Your current routine and unfinished session state, so you can resume a session.
App preferences, such as language, sound, and the last screen you viewed.

Mișcare uses this information on your device to suggest exercises, adjust progression, display your history, and remember your settings. It does not upload your exercise profile or journal to the developer or a server. The Android app works offline and does not request Android's Internet permission.

The app does not access your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, Health Connect records, or wearable sensor data. It does not use advertising identifiers, tracking cookies, advertising SDKs, analytics services, or an integrated crash-reporting service. Local session identifiers are used to manage journal entries, not to track you across apps or websites.

Optional exports and imports

You can export your local exercise data as a JSON backup through Android's document picker. The backup can contain your exercise profile, workout history, and saved session information. You choose where to save it. If you choose a cloud storage provider, that provider receives the file at your request and handles it under its own privacy policy. Mișcare does not automatically send backups to the developer.

You can also select a backup file to import. The app reads the file you select and processes it locally. Importing replaces the existing exercise profile and history.

Exported JSON files are not password-protected or encrypted by Mișcare. Keep them somewhere you trust and share them only if you intend to disclose their contents.

Optional spoken cues and platform services

When sound is enabled, the app may send exercise cues to your device's text-to-speech service using a voice reported by the device as local. The app does not request online voices or record your voice. You can turn sound off in the app. Your device's speech service is also subject to its provider's settings and privacy policy.

Android, Google Play, and services you independently use may process installation information or diagnostics under their own policies and your device settings. This is separate from Mișcare's local exercise storage.

Sharing and sale of information

Mișcare does not sell or rent your information or use it for advertising. The Android app does not transmit your workout history or exercise preferences to the developer or third parties. User-initiated exports and messages you choose to send are described in this policy.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Your exercise data remains on your device until you delete it. You can view your journal, export your exercise data, and delete individual journal entries in the app. Deleting an entry does not reset all exercise preferences or progression settings.

To remove the entire local exercise profile, journal, saved session, and app preferences, use the app's delete-all-data option. You can also clear Mișcare's storage through Android settings or uninstall the app. The app is configured to exclude its local data from Android automatic cloud backup and device transfer.

Deleting app data or uninstalling Mișcare does not delete backups you previously exported or copies you shared. Delete those separately from the locations or providers where they are stored, including any trash or backup copies. The developer has no server copy of your exercise data and cannot retrieve, restore, or remotely delete your on-device journal.

Security

Local app data is stored in the app's Android storage area and relies on Android's app isolation and your device's security protections. Mișcare does not add its own encryption to the local database or exported backups. Protect your device and any backup files. No storage method can guarantee absolute security.

Contacting the developer

If you email zandaulion@gmail.com, the developer and email service providers receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. This information is used to answer your request and is kept only as long as needed to handle it and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence at the same address, subject to those obligations.

You do not need to send your workout journal, health information, or backup file to ask a privacy question. Avoid including information that is unnecessary for your request.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app's features or information practices change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes to information handling will be explained in the app or its release information before they take effect.
